The Steyning Downland Scheme is a UK registered charity which is dependent on the generous giving of our supporters to be able to continue our work. More funding would allow us to better conserve local wildlife and engage more people in the natural world.

Make a Regular Donation
We always welcome new supporters! Perhaps you are able to make a one-off donation, or you would like to commit to regular, monthly giving? If so, please click on the Local Giving link below. If you are the entrepreneurial type and would like to support us through local fundraising or other creative ideas, please do get in touch.

Leave us a Gift in your Will

By leaving us a gift in your Will, whether it’s a few hundred pounds to many thousands, means that we can continue to look after this amazing natural area of Steyning for the benefit of both wildlife and the local community.

If you would like to make a difference to the work we do on the nature reserve, from conservation, to maintaining footpaths, running bushcraft days and wildlife monitoring,  then please consider making a gift in your Will. This will help us to continue to look after this unique place for the benefit of the local community for many years to come.

Making a legacy is simple and adding a charitable bequest to the Steyning Downland Scheme can reduce your inheritance tax and we will receive your gift free of tax.

Legal advice
It is very important to take independent professional advice when writing your Will. We can help with suggested wording, or with a codicil if you have already made a Will, please click here for a Legacy Form or click here for a Legacy Codicil Form.

We are particularly grateful to the Goring family for making their land available for us to manage and for their generous financial support. Many thanks indeed to all our supporters, whether financial, or in kind!
