Yesterday was our biggest and best Easter Egg Rollathon yet, with 200 eggs entered from 96 contestants!

For those who don’t yet know, every year we run an egg rolling competition down the steep south-facing slope of the Rifle Range, with chocolate egg prizes for the eggs the roll the furthest. This year, the dry weather and munching Dexters had created perfect egg rolling conditions, although the hard baked soil caused several eggs to vaporise on impact. All the same we had clear winners from different age groups from primary school through to adults and everyone had a good time!

Not forgetting the egg decorating competition, which attracted some remarkably inventive creations. Looking forward to next year already!
