Big Dig at the Targets

During the week of 24-28 July the Steyning Downland Scheme will be carrying out a careful excavation of the targets area at the far end of the Rifle Range.
The aim is to learn more about how the Rifle Range was used over the years.
Everyone is welcome to visit to see what we are up to!
The dig is being led by SDS volunteer Justin Russell, a qualified archaeologist with specialist knowledge of rifle ranges.
Free but donations welcome.
