Botany Survey: Land Extension
14 June @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
Join the Steyning Downland Scheme for our second special botanical survey of the year!
This time we will be carrying out a ‘baseline survey’ of our new land extension to see what effect our future management has on biodiversity.
All botanical abilities, from newbie to experienced botanists are very welcome.
Please wear stout footwear (steep slopes), bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather. We will be walking in open downland so a hat is advised on sunny days. Ticks can be a problem in any long grassland on the Downs, so long trousers tucked into socks are advised.
Meet at 9.45 for a 10am start
